LunaX – Portable Speaker with Light

This inexpensive ($30) tech gadget combines a Bluetooth speaker with an LED lantern-shaped light. While at first it seemed a somewhat odd combination, it’s turns out to be surprisingly useful.
Overall, it’s an attractive, lightweight package that radiates a fair amount of light over 360 degrees. But connected to my iPhone, using it’s easy to set up connection, it becomes a small music player or radio (when connected to the iHeart radio app). The light is adequate for a bedside lamp or for using it to illuminate a path at night.
The lantern has 12-24 hours of continuous light and 7 hours of audio entertainment.
The audio quality is surprisingly good when compared to a small radio.   Bottom line, it might not have been something I would set out to look for, now that I have it, it’s getting plenty of use.
